im having trouble taking that darn thing off can somebody help?

remove the entire grille and it just unclips from behind. you might be able to just pull up the plastic covor going from the core support to the top of the grille and reach in there.

Two clips you squeeze them together and it pops out. Like tx said its easiest witht he grille out.

it dont have clips it gots some lil bolts in the back

I just pulled the plastic wind deflactor and had easy access to the two tin style nuts that were threaded onto the plastic studs that is attached to the factory bowtie. A 10mm socket if I recall should take the nuts off.
If all else fails, take a pair of wire dikes and cut them off.
