How do i get the original Bow Tie off my ('00 Silverado) grill ???

If it's anything like an S10 grill, you basicly have to pop off the entire grill in order to get to the backside of the bow-tie. Then there will be 2 metal 'nuts' that you undo to be able to remove the bowtie from the front side of the grill. There may be enough room on the Silvys to get to the back without removing the grill... dont really know there.

You have to remove the grill. once you pop the grill off there are two plastic clips that hold the bowtie in place. Should only take you about 30 mins start to finish.

remove top grille cover,there will be 2 10mm or 2 13mm speed nuts.
