What paint did you use on the grille? Did you top it off with a coat of clear?

The grill doesn't look like it has any clear on it. It looks pretty dull. You may want to shoot some more clear on it or wet sand it.

 

That's what I thought, but couldn't tell on my phone. I've been wanting to paint a few pieces on my front end and don't want it to look half-assed. The paint you used looks like it sprayed on well.

 

Ah for one, only use spray for a much better job. If you can, use a paint gun. I was just too lazy to bust mine out and I was also at a friends house doing this one night.

No, no clear coat. Just rustolem gloss black paint, primer and 300 grit paper.

I was going to do a clear but after seeing the "dull" look I like it alot. I dont think Ill take it off and redo it clear untill I paint the whole truck. The grille looks awesome, and considering I painted it in the dusk and dark I did very well. I have gotten many complements already.
