Default Birds and side view mirrors

Here is a peculiar issue that started recently. There is a bird that lives somewhere around the parking lot of my complex. It likes to land on the windowsill/trim and try to attack itself in the side view mirror. It will leave grease/feather marks and scratches in the mirror face, and its claws scratch the door paint under the window trim. It does this to other cars in the parking lot too.

Other than killing it or folding my mirrors in whenever I park I don't know how to stop it. There's nothing really I can do, just curious if anyone else has has a similar issue.

Here's a video I found on youtube of basically what's going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6sR...eature=related

I had this problem with a certain bird that kept coming every morning and landed on my mirrors, and would chit down the sides of the door. I finally started folding my mirrors anytime it was parked in the driveway. After 3 weeks he finally left my truck alone, and I can leave the mirrors out all the time now.....oh ya by the way he will find another vehicle to regularly chit on, so happens to be my ***** neighbors NEW Hyundai LMAO!

Yeah I could have tried to kill him, but I would have had to try to shoot him while he was on my truck, and with my luck I would have shot my truck by accident lol...
