Here are a couple more pics of before/after trim removal. Mine aren't quite as dramatic, but it still made it look better and it's easier to wash and dry now. And yes, I some a-hole gave me a door ding right where the passenger side molding was within days after I removed it. I can control that to a large extent by parking away from people though.

DaveN, It is still dramatic on your truck in real life. It's just the black paint hides the plastic part of the molding so it doesn't look as dramatic as it does on lighter paint.

Erick, the 16th should be a Sat race no? I assumed that would be a Test & Tune day or Grudge event.

JSmith, I figured YOU'D like it.

The REAL projest is already in progress. The motor is at the machine shop and the heads are almost done. Waiting on the trans to get shipped from the wrecking yard and the converter from PI. Right now the plan is to finish rebuilding the motor and installing the heads/cam from my T/A and do the 4L80E swap in the Z71 and when that truck is finished I will pick it up and drop off the Lil Grey truck and really get things going. I wanna take my tim eon this truck and do it all right so in the mean time I'll be playing around with the Z71 and tuning it for 13s and near stock gas milage if possible. I got aq ton of stuff going on. Hell My roll pan came in today and within an hour I had a local painter pick it up and should have it painted and installed by Sat. The Hotchkis drop kit came in and I had that installed within 3 hours of delivery! LOL
