Bed Covers - help me out

Bed Covers - help me out
Well, I was looking for something very sleek, and all of the fiberglass covers are quite thick and bulky to say the least.
Found this:
Silverado Sierra | Colorado Canyon | S-10 Sonoma | Chevy GMC | Hard Tonneau Covers
Looks kinda good, im wondering if there is anyway to sand/paint the cover for a gloss black finish between the hinges?
What im confused with is choosing the correct truck model. Single cab short bed, so im confused between the two short bed options one of which says "track system short bed" so which one do I have
