From what I have been researching water only gets in teh bed from the holes on top of the bed railing. but you can smoth them over or just put some tubing and make them drain to to outside with little work. I am thinking of getting one now and leaving it black. Maybe get it panither later but I think the black will look good with my pewter truck.

Is that the black that it comes froms the factory (on the bedcover) or did you have the bed cover painted?

Thanks Guys, you can get the cover in either Black or White. I heard it was easier to paint white so, I ordered the top White and the bottom Black. I had it painted about 4 yrs ago. Really, the only places it leaks are in the stake pockets. Use more weather stripping to make sure the rest seal to the bed. The $401 was shipping and I had it shipped to a company/business, saved a lil on the shipping.

I think I will get the Black one cause I have the black protecting on the bedrails so I think the black will look better than getting mine painted pewter to match my truck.

*******'s Lid (Painted) $679.13 installed, also I got it with no carpet. Because that damn grey carpet sucks, I had my interior guy put in black carpet to make it look real nice.

Heres a picture of when I first got it installed, you can see most of it is still stock in the pic.
