Default Beam post spotlights? (police spotlights)

Hey guys,

I have a 1996 GMC Suburban and I was wondering where I can find/have installed some beam post-mount spotlights (what police cars have). I've seen a few on some local Sierras and Suburbans and I found one place that online that had them for my car, but they looked like *** and I have no idea how to install something like this. The only major requirement is that they have to be BLACK. Thanks for any help guys.

i had a friend try and put one of these on his car. he got the actual beam light from ebay, and then took it around to shops but they said they have to reweld the door frame and all this stuff which jacked up the cost and he never got it installed.

You can get the spotlights here http://www.unityusa.com/post_mount_spotlight4.htm

the hardest part is drilling the hole through the a pillar and notching the door frame. I have the dual spots on the Ford Crown Vic I bought from the hiway patrol. They were on there so I don't know how difficult it is but you can check out instructions on their site.

Thanks for the responses guys.... I was actually looking at the unityusa site earlier, and I noticed they had 2 beam designs, one that required door notching and one that didn't (supposedly). I have yet to find a shop to do it, as I'm not even going to attempt something this risky myself.
