Default Anyone with 5pt. Harnesses Come in Here

I just purchased a 2001 GMC Sierra about 2 weeks ago and plan on installing the C5 Sport Seats in the truck. I want to use 5 pt. Harnesses with the seats but don't know where I should mount the Bracket for the Shoulder Belts. I know that I could mount them through the floor but if I was in an accident it's possible to suffer back injuries due to the alignment of your spine with the hold downs. Please help me out on this if anyone has put these in there truck.

What about doing a low-roll bar type setup where all you really have is tubing commin up like a typicall rollbar (except it doesnt go all the way up to the ceiling) and you bolt the belts to that? I dunno if you have a reg cab or X-cab so i dunno what your plans are about gettin behind the seats and all...so this is just a suggestion.

You need to get the shoulder belts mounted at shoulder level, otherwise you're right, you're looking at spinal compression.
