Thanks guys! For us to make a mold and pop out production pieces it's the same but if you're just doing a one off you can do what we did on the G8 GXP, buy a cowl and have a shop graft it on (should run you $400-$1000 tops).

Where did you get the insert from? All the ones I've seen are CF for like $1000 alone. Little rich for my blood. Though it looks cool as hell!

i saw the insert for $400 in carbon. just google it i remember it wasnt very hard to find. I would be interestedin the 06HD type hood like this.

I bought an insert but it won't work at all. Dimensions are totally off. Just took the stock hood, sculpted this out of clay, molded it and popped the hood you see out of the mold...

New grill we designed for her, about 50% complete (it will be all satin black with CHEVROLET letters/emblems that raise off the metal backing to be flush with the shell AND will be LIT UP around the edges)...
