Almost 1 year
#1
It has been almost 1 year since I took delivery of my 2006 crew cab Vortek Max. So far 14,000 miles and I love this vehicle.
Here are pics of the day I first saw it.
Pics of how it looks today.

Here's what I have done so far, took off most of the badges, replaced door molding with GMC style molding, 2/4 drop, modified the trailer hitch so it's not so ugly,Bedrug, Jack Rabbit bed cover.
Things left to do. Change to red door handles, exhaust,CAI,tune, wheels and tires.
I want to put theese 20 inch wheels on.
I have not done any performance mod yet as I wanted to get some miles on the warrenty first, but don't worry I will make this thing run good real soon.
How am I doing so far?

When I drive through thes repaired areas it is impossible to avoid the loose aphalt pieces. It sounds like someone throwing handfulls of pebbles at the sides of my truck. Thats why I have mudflaps, when the paint gets dinged up I'll remove the flaps. The paint is still cherry, and the mudflaps have done a lot to keep it that way.
