Default aftermarket hoods

I'm getting some money for some recent hail damage done to the hood of my truck and am going to get an aftermarket cowl or ram-air hood.

Who makes what and who has which ones on there trucks??

And do they weigh less or more than the factory hood??usually.

thanks guys

I would personally go with a goodmark hood. They seem to fit the best from what I have seen.

You have a Silverado or Sierra??

In all honesty if you have a Silverado id do the powerdome HD hood and SS grille (I think it was 05+ 1/2 ton hood/grille as well). You can probably pick that up for about the same price as you gonna pay for an aftermarket hood. If you have a Sierra id also suggest the 01-02 HD hood like BGray has and just get it trimmed to fit, they look great on GMCs!

If your not interested in any OEM hoods ive never heard anything but good from Reflexxion & Goodmark so id stick with one of those 2.

This being the HD hood/SS grille I was referring too for the Chevys... minus the SS bumper of course

It is not functional. As he said he wants to cut it out to allow for more air to reach the motor.
