Default advice on 225 55 20's

Anyone running this tire? I thinking of using this tire on a 3/4 drop with factory 20's as wheels. Anyone have pics. Search function has not been kind!

Search function isn't working for you because no one on here would run a tire that small. Hopefully you misprinted the size.

Why not run a 275/45/20, same overall height and wider contact patch

No, I am running 245/40/20s.

I have seen a 285/50/20 run on stock SS wheels with a 2/4 drop and I think I remember reading that there was minimal rubbing at full lock. You would have rubbing with the 285/50/20s or the 275/55/20s with a 3" front drop. With a 275/45/20 you wouldn't have any rubbing and should be in good shape.

If your truck is 2 wheel drive, this won't help you. This is my studded winter tire setup. 275/55R20 Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5.
