got the word today. $4,500 in "visable" damages, with upwards of $5,500 in actual damages, as per the insurance company.

the truck is at my local body shop right now. i'll be going over the damages with the body shop tomorrow. if it gets fixed the truck will get the 06 front end, as well as a few other goodies.

well, hopefully they can fix it or at least cut you a decent check for it if it's paid for. Good idea with the '06 front end if it all works out I think you'll really like it.

I don't wanna break your heart but if my truck was f'ed up that bad I would beg for the insurance company to total it. It'll be nothing but trouble for you down the road keeping tires on it that wear straight along with the electrical issues and rattles that you never had before.

I wish they would have totalled out my first rear end . It was by a drunk driver. My motor mounts are fucked, I miss now. **** sucks
