Surfing another site the other day I bought a tape player delete, its a lil felt lined cubby hole that replaces the tape player in a 99-02 truck. I actually purchased it before my vacation (along with my 3rd set of LS1 fans and a nelson harness-maybe I'll put em in this time) and I forgot I even bought any of that. Got home and it was all there....so I popped the cubby hole in. I must say, I love it. Its a nice place for my iphone and the fact that its lined with felt keeps rattles down. Plus its real deep.

my truck came like that from the factory. cut a hole in the back of it and run your radio harness into the iphone

my tape player still works with my Alpine deck... as does the iPod interface LOL... ancient ****

 

LOL I actually bought a Rick James tape a few years back at a truck stop just so I could use my tape player. (Rick James was about the best they had)
