Default 99-02 steering wheel/air bag upgrade
Got bored a while back and did this. I used an 03+ HD column & steering wheel w/ clock spring, 03+ HD single stage airbag, and 05+ Trailblazer air bag.

Combined the single stage air bag with the Trailblazer air bag housing. It turned out pretty nice.

Looks good man !

Won't the newer wheel fit on the older column ?

Actually they changed the splines in 03 for some reason.

Hmm..... A lot of the stuff I read, says the 03+ wheel will fit. Just change the bag to a HD truck bag.

AFAIK there is no difference in 1500/2500 airbags .

Please explain .

I was told that they changed the splines in 03' as well. I was gonna swap columns at some point in the past year but never got the time for it.
