255-55-18 on 18x8.5 are how tall?

My 255/55 18's are on some American Racing Torq-Thrust rims. These tires are almost identical to factory as far as height. They will not leave a gap between the fenderwell with a 4/6 drop like mine.

I'd like to see a pic of that 4/6 drop, I am thinking of dropping my truck 3/5... it's already lower than a 4x4 since it's a 2WD version.
