Default 255/55/16 look funny?

Anyone think a 255/55/16 General Grabber UHP would look weird on a truck with a 2/4 drop?

I have 255/65-16 UHP's and they look good on mine with about a 3/5 drop... the 55's would be too short IMO... esp with a smaller drop. mine would look even worse on a 2/4 I think (versus the 3/5) I would go bigger than my 65's with a 2/4 drop... my UHP's are decent tires, but I still spin bad.... in the wet they are decent.

this is the best pic i could find with 255/70/16's.
sorry for the angle...

tires are right at 30" tall and fill up the fenderwells nicely.

255/55-16 tires have a really narrow tread width IMO. Personally, I like to see tires with meaty tread widths. I think 275/60-16 Toyo Proxes S/T tires would look great on your truck.

Yeah I've looked at your truck a few times today, I really like how the Proxes look on there. So thanks to you I'm going with the Toyos.

...when I get some money anyway

On the rear is the General I burnt them off in less then 5000 miles. I liked doing burnouts though! They will look fine with sufficiant drop. The truck static was like 5/7. Then rear bagged in the last few.

I beleive they are discontinued hence the reason for the rediculous price. Decent tire over all, great tire for $62.

That would make sense, especially seeing as its only that size... Wish I could lower enough to make them look right. lol
