Default 20x12 with 305 55 20 on 4" lift??

Hey I have a nbs Tahoe 01. It's a 2wd. Currently it has a 6" lift, 3" spindles, stock keys. Rear is 2" spacers and 4" springs. Has 35 x 12.5 20s now on a 20 x 8.5 sss rim.

I want to lower the truck to 4" and remove my rear spacers. I want smaller tires like 305 55 20. My rims need to be wider but maybe past the fender 1". Thus the 20x12 plan. The rim says -44 offset. I need to know if they will work for me. My front has some pretty good trimming already done. But I plan to decrank to 4" in front to match rear.

Will this plan work? Not afraid to do additional trimming if needed. Just want lower and wider and need to know if that offset is optimal for a 20x12 that I want mostly tucked in the wheel well.

Yeah they'll work, you may have to cut some more depending on what all has already been done. We just put 20x12 moto metal 962's with 305/50/20 which are 32" tall on my friends 01 z71 that's lowered close to 2" in the front and we had to trim the bumper back about an inch and grind down the cab behind the fender about an inch. It still slightly rubs the plastic liners at full lock but oh well they'll be fine.
