Default 2006 sierra denali projector with HIDS.

Hey guys i just brought a 2006 sierra denali. Question, I want to install some HIDs. Will 35 watt HIDs work fine? Or will it melt or do damage to the housing, since its smaller compared to the normal headlights housing on a sierra or silverados. Same question goes for the fog light.

yeah you will be fine with a quality hid kit, like spencer's or theretrofitsource. I have hids in my denali projectors and my 02 sierra fogs and they're fine no signs of any melting or discoloring of the housings

They have high beam bulbs from the factory, so they can take a little heat, but don't use a cheap kit because the cheaper kits usually run much hotter than a quality kit

Cheap bulbs don't have an anti-uv coating like better ones I believe. Cheap ddms hazed my new factory fog lights last year. Don't expect good output from the Denalis with hids. And the fogs will glare.
