Default 18's ok for Offroad?

I was wondering about 18's that would be reasonably priced and ok for offroad. Any thoughts? Wanting to upgrade to Eradispeed + 1 kit and it requires 18's. Also what size tires could I get away using with a stock height truck. Help appreciated!

I have a friend who has 17" Centerlines on his 2000 Z71, and it looks double tough! And, he hasn't had a lick of problems with them.

I'm sure that 18's would be perfectly fine as long as you have the clearance for them!

a 265/60-18 or a 285/55-18 are the same height as a stock tire, a 295/65-18 or a 305/60-18 should fit under a stock height 4x4 (the 305/60 may rub because of the width)

look at the Eagle 101's or 102's ($192.00 apiece)for a reasonably priced wheel, and the Nitto Terragrappler's are a really good off-road tire with good on-road manners and a fair price ($177.00 apiece)

Thanks for the info. I like the 102's somewhat, but another question would be what backspacing do I need to make those work or any 18 for that matter, front and rear.
