honestly, thats probably what caused it, with how high they are from the factory, lowering them could throw all the driveline angles out of whack and cause the failure. sometimes ya gotta learn the hard way on the new stuff.

dealership isn't being ********, thats just the way it is. if it was stock, I'm sure they would have fixed it.

Yeah thats pretty crappy for sure...suppose they blamed it on pinion angle or something like that, right? But they can't void the warranty, the driveline and body would still be covered, correct?

Are all of these driveshafts breaking on launches or at high speeds? I broke my driveshaft on the Dyno and I was told that it broke because of the high speed (122mph). The stock driveshaft is only balanced for the stock tune which is 99mph or less or it will break because of vibration. The new Dynotech Driveshaft that I used has a higher critical speed than the stock Driveshaft therefore will not break at higher speeds. I would say that changing the suspension (ie: cut front springs, modify rear leafs) would have something to do with breaking the driveshaft. The reason to buy a kit like Hotchkis or Belltech is because they make sure that when there kit is installed on a truck that it does not effect the driveshaft angle or anything else that would deviate from the stock drivabilty. Just my opinion. Here is a link to my driveshaft breaking into 3 pieces on the Dyno.

Very nice ride "bad intentions" I love the grill/front end. did that tune wake her up a bit? Any chance you took her to the track b4 and after the tune? Nice color man!

This guy is running 13.1 with a NBS regular cab 5.3....those 5.3's are freakin peppy these days..go break his record with that 6.0L I think all he has is tune, headers, intake, exhaust, and stall....anyone know this truck to confirm the mods?

Bad Intentions broke his drive shaft at the burn out box, the others one have been high speeds, and 2 of the other ones where stock height.
