00Z71, does your box slide or is it bolted down? my little brother had a problem with his bandpass box sliding out from under the seat when he hit the brakes.

Whe i had my floor mats in the back and they where a little under the box, it would slide so I took them out and no problem. Actually this is my second box and i modified it too take larger speakers and it is raised allitle under the seat.

The seat stays up all by it self, it has never come down, not even when i hit the brakes.

If you buy the mod from the guy on GMFS, it comes with billet slides, that after cutting the stock hooks, the slides bolt up, so you can slide them down once the seat is upright, and it will hold. Then, pull on the straps attatched to the slides, to release the seat, and fold forward. I bought myself a set a month or so ago, but too lazy to do it yet. Waiting till i do the stereo install/ door handles/tailgate/and painted parts all at once.

Really cool

How much room is there behind the seat? Is there enough room for anything besides an amp? I am trying to think of other uses other than having a flatter area to set things on.

Also, does anyone know what the back of the leather seat is like material wise? I haven't taken my out at all.
