Pretty sure to do this you need to swap the whole front clip I think It also matters if it had the cladding or not

To get the HD front all you need is the 06/07 hood and grill

all i know is my buddy has a avy and he had to order one for a avy a regular 1500 or 2500 woundnt fit cause of the cladding i think its because the headlights are on the bottom and parking lights are on top. thas the only reason i said you might need to do the whole front end.

but i think if you have the avalanche w/o the cladding the hod and grill is all one would need no?

The trucks with cladding have different front fenders/headlights/grille. The non cladded trucks should use the same hood as a silverado.
