I have seen the truck around and wanted a fair run with him.....so one night while we were working out some air/fuel issues, I see him. I run up on him on a four lane road and when i get to his rear door he hits it and all i hear is the whine It sounds so sweet.
So we are rolling about 50 and he looks over and nails it! I heard it before it actually moved and i geared down to 2nd and slowly pulled past him to 90 and had him by 1 car or so!
Next we roll up to a light and i chat with him to find out mods and such....I say give me a fair run and don't spray me haha!(he has no nitrous just wanted to mess with him). The light goes green and I leave but he doesn't so i let out and shifts to second only to realize that he is actually wot! I get back in it and spin first to second till about 50 and still stroked him by 3! That was more exciting than....well it was fun haha!
He has been around town saying he wants to run and he beat me but he will leave me next time. So i got a hsw 100 wet shot says he won't.
Moral of the story always use protection(buy gm)
Awesome story. Do you live in Mississippi? I see a 2006+ NBS running around with that exact same paint job in the town that I live in.

155 + boost = no coupling haha!
Well last friday night we had a blast! I got a good run from 60-110 with a 09 gt mustang! I was rolling three deep on the 22's and even had the spare tire on haha! He rolled up the first run he got the roll on me by about 1 and half lentgh but i cought him then he gave me a fair start and i beat him by 2!

Later that night i ran a tuned tbss with magnaflow and some less than par tire...... i got him by one in the eighth(legal street racing)!ha

And not worth stories but a 08 hemi crew cab(sticker charged ) and a 19 o'dirt bmw got left! very fun stuff

When I was searching for 6.0 cams, I came across tons of posts saying that the LS6 was no good for the 6.0, that it would have no lowend and wasn't worth the cost of swapping it in. I thought this was odd though given how cheap you can get it.

Well i love mine granted i never drove the truck with the stock cam! It def. has a ton of power in the midrange and up top. I always make the truck pull past the rev limiter at 6300 cause it is pullin so good. I would say it lost some lowend but the 6.0 makes up for it...compared to a 5.3. I am shooting to go boosted eventually so working my way to it instead of shooting myself in the foot with a big tr224 or somthing. But yea N/A go with a bigger cam and stall cause you will regret the smoothness and stockish sound with a ls6 cam.

I went with the TSP 228r cam.

It's probably good you went with the LS6 cam. The stock 6.0 cam falls off like a turd at 5500

The cam isn't in it.

As it is right now, it just headers, y pipe and cats into a cutout. The cats really quieted things down. I don't expect the 228 cam to lope that much after being tuned. Thru stock muffler I doubt you'd even know it was cammed
