Default Turboed Nissan Sentra kill... lol

So... I approach a red light and I pull up next to a Nissan Sentra .. STR maybe? Not sure.. but it had a "type-R" looking decal on it. Any one have an info on these? Are they v6s?

Well anyway, as im coming up to the light i see that there is no license plate or dealer tags anywhere on the car. Kinda odd, but maybe it wasnt registered yet. Really young kid in the car with his gf. After sitting at the light for a sec he reved a little, didnt really sound like a rev to me.. so I let him hear what a cammed chevy sounds like. He takes off when the light turns green with no wheel spin. I hear a turbo spool up as he does so... so after a delay and easing into it I take off... from the start he has a car length and 1/2 on me just bc i didnt take off right away and eased into it...hes in 3rd gear by the time i'm just getting into second... after about 400 ft. i fly by him as the two lanes become one... it was pretty quick for a Sentra with a little turbo. I just sweaked by him... i'd say if I was really racing and brake stalled it at the light I would have put 4 or more truck lengths on him easy. But he did have a real quick 1st gear...

He turned off the road real quick.. i wanted to tell him good job against a 4300lb cammed 4.8 truck Oh well.

The Sentra SE-R is a peppy little 4cyl. If he had a turbo, then he put it on there. I knew a guy who had one. Nice way to burn the rice regardless.
