I'd say if you were inch for inch on the engines you would have beat him. Maybe not by a long shot, but you'd have won :)

Thanks guys, we left at 3600 rpms for me and no boost built up on brakes, I didn't have much a "hit" per say. However, we got another race coming soon. I'll tweak on her some and give her hell one more time against that worked L. :chug:

Spoolin 07-07-2010 08:39 PM

Man I really wish I could see these video's!!! :(
How much power were the two L's putting down?

Luke03 07-07-2010 09:05 PM

Damn that 4.8 is moving out!

Not sure on there WHP, just ported eaton @15psi on the silver, 17 whipple on blue. Both trucks very nicely setup, long drag bars, longtube exhausts. Also found out fords have dual intake pumps stock...thats crap, it took alot of work and a six pack for that.

I'd bet i'm making more HP then both, but rotating 65 pound a piece 20's can't be helping.

our stage 5 ported lightning put down 408/478 if that helps

I am by no means the local grudge race king. We have a Top Dog List that gets a lot of the locals together to race once a month. It just so happens that I got lucky and am at the top of it right now. The fast guys are moving up and I will start falling like a rock very soon.

Also for you doubters yes the L is pretty quick the run with foose was on low boost/timing and on pump gas at full weight + I had my slicks and jack in the bed of the truck.

For those that dont beleive me here is another race I did the next day with another local. Same setup but this time I took the extra junk out of the bed.

So it looks like I'll be bringing the knife to the gunfight. My only advantage is my cars chassis weight. Car weighed 3,120 on the scales with a full tank of gas and minus my 240lb @ss in the seat.

Traction control blows but its my only friend. I dare not take it off because the car will blow the tires off at anything less than 60mph, so I fully expect Chris to run off from me on the initial hit (40 roll) and then I'm going to have to bank on a clean shift and my weight/aero advantage to catch up..........

Beautiful truck :D

When you race him again come out in top form. If someone is filming it, and it makes it to the internet everyone is going to talk. How much is low boostand high boost?

1LOW4X4 07-09-2010 08:24 AM

Wow. You and the blue are fast as fuck

ducky 07-09-2010 11:18 AM
