Default Tried my luck against a modded Harley F-150

I was cruising down hwy 70 and saw what looked like a 2000 Harley F150.It was just a friend of mine and I in the truck and saw that the driver of the HD was't very old at all from what it looked like.So I figured what the he** I'll see what a HD can do against a L.So He's in the middle lane and I'm in the fast lane.I got along side him and punched it a little at 65.He didn't do anything but slow down.Next thing I know he's weaving through traffic and gets along side me.I knew right then that it was on.So we ran from a 70 punch.I don't know what he had done to that truck but when we shut down all I could say was WTF because I only got him by a matter of feet. His front bumper was at my passenger side wheel.BTW the truck was a crew cab.

A truck that size running w/ a low 13-high 12 sec L is nuts.

If it was a pre 02, he may have done the L conversion to his 5.4L. It has become popular these days. On a roll the weight difference doesn't effect the heavier Harley as much as off idle.

I don't pull my fathers 02 Harley nearly as good on a roll. From a stop it's a differen't story. BTW we both run a tuned 12psi.

Or he could have had a cent on it.A cent shines on a roll. Guess we may never know. I have seen a few Harley members over at www.nhtoc.net running Prochargers and L blower swaps.

Hopefully he'll post or you'll run into him again.

I know there was a newer one, not the newest body style but a supercharged version the last time I went to the track. We lined up together, my 04 Sierra Crew Cab 1500 that ran 14.2's n/a and his. I wasn't thinking nothing about him til he showed me his taillights all the way down the track. If I recall he was running mid 12's in it. Fast sonofabitch. Never did see what all he had done to it though.
