You really are beating the crap out of that trans! Looks like its doing pretty well.

Were you running thru full exhaust on those runs or do you have a cutout?

The exhaust is currently dumped before the axle. I've got parts on order to finish it.

The 92mm in a T4, 1.25 housing. Got a 1.0 housing on the way to hopefully mitigate some of the lag. Runs real well overall though, I am pleased.

How much is that housing going to affect the geometry of the downpipe and whatnot?

I got a quote from Jose of $1099 for a 480/96/1.0 T4 - a direct drop in for my 475/83/1.0

You're basically the only person I've ever heard somewhat complain about the lag with the big BW. According to most on Tech, the box stock 96 mm units spool GREAT on stock 5.3s. lol

Yeah, I think people are either accepting the extra lag as the price they pay to play in the big turbine game that is sweeping the turbo world, or they are using cams that help spool the turbo but decrease overall torque. Probably a little of both. People tend to embellish their performance stories regardless. I had that box stock 75/96, and the only way it spooled great was with a blower feeding it

I asked Jose about the housing alignment because I've had that experience between the T6 1.32 and 1.10 housings... But he assured me it would be a drop in. So we'll see...
