What kind of mods do you have on the TBSS? The STi will run around 104 mph trap speed in the 1/4 mile. That must have been a crappy driver. But hey, that's all part of the game - run what ya brung and hope ya brung enough.

I've heard of Evos even breaking mid 11s.Then again how many Evos and STIs do you see on the street that are modded like that.

the Evo and STI can both be little world beaters with pretty simple mods... my friends STI runs cosistent 11.8's and he hasnt' done a tone of work to the thing... its silly fast.

Like I always tell him, it may be fast, but its still just a subaru.

I guess it's the all-wheel drive that does it even if it does add more weight.

Thank goodness. Another 10 Billion dollar loss and there might not be much a GM left.

With a good driver, yes. Some of the tools on the Soob forums can barely break into the 13s with one. I was running 14.0s-14.1s with my Forester stock and actually beat this one guy in a STi with the usual ricer fart can. He didn't run any more after that...

I was also looking at this post that Pedro made:
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=361961
So that's why I was somewhat curioous as to how beating a STi was pulled off.

Interesting... maybe I shouldn't be afraid to give one a try, on a roll of course! I did check out that other post and it would seem mid 14's should fall short of taking down any STI. But what happens on the street and on the track can be entirely different sometimes!

I love spanking them in my Vette. Any ricer for that matter. Can be quick out of the hole but not anything crazy unless modded.
