I had a deer basically hit my 79 Ford once. I was almost stopped (maybe 15 tops when he jumped out in front of me) on a gravel road and his horn took out me grill he spun around the front bumper and ran off with a square of the grill still on his horn. It was too ironic to really be mad though, guess it helps that the truck only cost $1 too.

You might have waited until the insurance company pays before you go posting on the internet about your illegal street race that caused you to hit a deer.

Just a little tid bit of info, but if you are going to race, you might want to pay attention to your entire surroundings (especially in front of you). It was probably unlikely to avoid hitting the deer without causing a massive wreck though...

Same thing happen to me before. me and a boy left town and went on a Ol Straight back road about 10:30 at night to go race. Well after I beat him the first run he wanted one more race so we took off again and about at 90MPH I was ahead by about 2 lengths, and 3 deer decided that it was a good time to run out in front of us needless to say I locked my truck up and they got by me and the last one hurdeled the hood of the other boys truck. Scared the **** out of me, but at least I brought the truck back in one piece......

Closest I've come to that was hittin a gray fox doin 110 one night. Scared the **** outta me because I hit it so hard it picked the truck all the way off the ground (a really bad feelin at that speed). Took me a whole 1/4mi just to regain control of it and get her headed in a straight line again. I almost pissed my pants but no damage what-so-ever to the truck. Ya know gray foxes explode when you hit em that fast?...

I hit a deer with my Typhonn. Insurance company was NOT happy at the expenses it had to pay out...those truck because they were limited cost a $$$ to fix, they paid out over 8K. They wanted to call it totalled but luckily they don't depreciate too fast.

So do Deer. My friends brother hit a deer in an old 78 ford doin almost 90 and the deer was demolished.

The road I come to work on is loaded with deer. a few weeks ago i topped over a hill at 75-80 and seen a deer in the ditch getting ready to cross and I hammered the brakes. I got stopped about 3 feet from the thing and it just slowly walks across the road given me a go to hell look.
Stupid deer.
