sti vs. me!

Race him several times. If he beats you race him again. Turbos get hot quick and he will start slowing down. Either that or his trans will shatter if he is bomb droping the launch. You'll win eventually.

x2 on the STI sounds. Thats the only 4cly that I really like the sound of.

I thought the wrx's ran mid to low 14's and the sti's ran about a mid 13. this would explain why they get beat all the time by stock 4th gen fbodies.

Things may have changed lately. They went through a long spout of STI's going through transmitions when red line bomb droping from street light to street light. I had a friend that worked at subaru back then as a tech and they would bust people on this all the time. When they dropped the trans they would see purple and blue cluch markings proving that they were ragging them. (no warranty at that point).

For an auto thats one thing but for a manual trans....its alot of stress no matter who makes it.
