Default starting to have fun with the truck

Totally stock except for a muffler 4.8

On the fwy the other night and see a clean ecsb green nbs truck. I have a white nnbs rcsb. Anyway, I get next to him and he looks like he's got at least 3 people in his truck, I'm alone in mine. I also don't know what he had done.

Anyway, were cruising next to eachother and I just floored it. Its about the riciest thing someone can do, I know, but damnit I couldn't help it. I felt awkward trying to honk off in a stock *** truck. So I know he hits it too, after I did of course. I jump out on him and at about 2 trucks ahead he stops my pull and its looking like he's reeling me in. I let off and ended up in his lane (I was a couple ahead of him) and he switches lanes and flies off. His truck seemed decently quick.

Its making me wanna mod my truck more and more. ******* things are fun. I think I need to swap a bigger motor though.

yeah, best thing you could do would be either go FI on that 4.8 or just swap in a 6.0. im thinking 6.0 however...

If you're going to keep the 4.8, the first mods you should do are gears, converter, cooler and tune. Then from there you can start in on the exhaust, cam, and forced induction stuff. Good race by the way.

decide what kind of setup u want first. are u gonna go fi or stay na. if you stay na thats why i recomended the 6.0 swap. more cubes more torque more hp. if you really want to keep that 4.8 then go turbo or something and spin it higher. but whether you go fi or na is gonna dictate what size stall and what gear ratio you are gonna want to run. so pick a path and stick with it so u dont have to do the same mods more than once. if your not sure yet just get an cai and a tune nxt
