Ha Ha....it took motor trend over 100 passes w/professional and very skilled drivers to run just low enough in the quarter and 0-60mph to beat the L.... but they are very respectable trucks....besides the car drivetrain that went in it lol....give dodge a few years and that truck will be a beast and ford and cheby better step up..

Well it's a day later and still no response... guess he's too cool for school, or get schooled. Oh well he'll be in again and i'll just be faster with a nelson tune, prehaps a bigger fuel pump (thanks for the advice), better tires, cam, and possibly some heads (AFR, WCCH, or Patriot) and some good headers. He'll certainly get that *** spanked then! That is if the 4L60E holds up...

I'm pretty sure it was a SRT-10 cause it even had the "viper powered" cowl badge and very large brake rotors w/painted calipers.

SRT-10's absolutely come in Silver (grey). I had a guy try me here one morning on the way to work with a red RC SRT-10. From about a 40 mph roll he was pretty quick. His headlights disappeared slower than most.....

Ahh Silver for sure, but it was said to be grey, and I see that as being the darker Graphite Metallic that my truck is. Can't get an srt-10 in that color, yet.

I gave a local SRT 10 owner a ride in the Red beast. Then he gave me a ride in his. They are ok but deffinetly not all they are cracked up to be. His dynoed at 413 rwhp with 428 rwtq. Drove real nice though.
BTW he said HELL NO! to a race....

A good driver can get one down to the high 12s (RC, not QC). But without a driver, they're useless.

The 05 RCs now get the 4.56s the QC has instead of the 3.92s they did have, so 12s consistently should be easy if the owner can drive.

Hopefully I'll be racing a brand new one (RC) here shortly, I'll have vid for the forum when it happens.

That seems to be the operative word with those trucks.
