silly ricers..... turbos are for trucks...
Well this doesnt even involve my truck....
We decided to run to get an ice cream at mcdonalds at 1:00 a.m. (24hr drive thrus FTW)
on the way home i see this eclipse gsx (turbo/awd) hes hunting for a race... chirping his blow off every 30 feet.... mind you i am driving my wifes 2005 ptcruiser.... non-turbo..... stock lil grocery getter....
i pull up at the next red next to him....
I ask ashley if i should rev on him..... she laughed and said " its a f'in PT cruiser!!! yeah right "
well the light goes green and we both roll out... i roll into it... and right as i get a bit into second, I punch it... it kicks down to first and im off at a little over a snails pace.... Well not to my suprise he bit.... i hear him spool up....
one problem.... hes not gaining much ground...... he catching up but not by much... so im coming up to my turn so i let off and he pulls up as i am in teh turn lane.... he had turned his radio wayy up and wouldnt even look over... .... i leaned forward staring waiting to make some smart *** remark as soon as he looked over..... all he did was stare at his dash... i so badly wanted to ask him... "was that it?" or "are you kidding??" or "did vtec not kick in?"
as soon as we turned ashley was laughing so hard.... she asked if i was gonna post it here and i just smiled..... she said aparently having a turbo doesnt make you fast......

Shannon your killing me here smalls!!! Thats awesome! I went to a place called the Guppies Tea house last night after the angels game and it turned out to be an asian hang out with all the F&Furious boys out flaunting their stickers. I saw some of the slowest WOT pulls out of the driveway of that food joint that I've ever seen.
