raced my buds hemi

Unless the OP states otherwise I am willing to bet the Ram has 3.92's in it. If your buddy has the window sticker kicking around he could know for sure quickly. Showing a 5.7 tail lights isn't difficult, lol.
That 6.2 seems to stumble pretty good out of the hole...... A tune would probably be a huge asset right about now, lol. Even with 3.92's I have yet to see a stock 09+ Ram crew 4x4 best my old 09 and it ran a whopping 15.3@89 mph.....And was a pathetic turd off the line with 3.92's in it. It couldn't spin the tires on cold pavement in the middle of -20 winter let alone the summer time unless I started on a patch of ice.
We aren't anwhere near sea level here and DA's up here put you at 5000' plus most days.
The elapsed times posted on the site by most are utterly meaningless here.

Either way it's like racing with a 4L60E except with two useless overdrives tacked on instead of only one.
4.56's would just make up for the heavy 33" tall 20" rims and lack of transmission gearing.
It still wouldn't win with 4.56 anyhow, and I would put money on that.

I raced a brand new 5.0 coyote mustang on the i-10 feeder near katy, tx. From a dig I took it till 60 mph then till 100 ..we were pretty much close, then he walked me from 105+...I thought I did pretty damn good against it. Sounded stock too.
Nice kill on your 6.2

Still a good kill, my father in law has a 2012 rc/sb Hemi, and he has 3:55s in it and I can take him easy. But I do agree a Stock ram would still def lose, Mopar guy not afraid to call it how I see it...lol

As stated, alot of rams come with 3.55 gears, the only way you can get 4.10 is with the RT from factory. The stock intake on the ram works very well, so the airid hes got prolly not doing much along with the TB spacer and flowmaster...
With the slow reaction and steep gearing in the transmission from the Sierra that outcome makes perfect sense.
I ran a 6.2 while I was on the stock computer programming and I walked him easily. His was 4wd and mine is not but hes the one that asked for the race. Now with it being tuned, which makes a hudge difference I can smoke the rear tires doing 15-20mph on dry pavement. The computers hold a bunch back. ANd the gearing the in transmission sucks compared to a 6L80-90
