Default Raced a lightning tonight.

yes, i got beat.

It all started at whataburger. Me and some friends were just talking outside our cars with a blue lightning pulled up and went through the drive thru, and my friends were telling me to race him and see how I'd do. Well he leaves the drive thru and gets stuck at a red light, so i decided what the hell, and hopped in my truck and pulled up next to him and kinda got on it on green. He pulled up ahead of me a little bit, i floored it and pulled up about a truck in front of him before he really got on it, and we just about evened out at about 90.

Then i ask him if he wants to really race on a local highway, he says yes, we head over to the service road. First race was from 20, no traction for either of us, but when we both grabbed he had about a truck and a half on me by 90. Then we raced from a dig with about the same results.

I think it was stock, except for the A pillar gauge pod. But I think the ol' silverado gave it a good run for what it is.

Very nice! Get all those parts waiting to be installed in the truck and go get a re-match!

Another thing, I've read that lightnings can run anywhere from 13.7 to 14.0 in the 1/4 bone stock. And If i only trailed him by that much, is that saying i could be running close to 14.2 1/4 mile times? We definately raced up to 1/4 mile speeds. hmm

Sorry man but you'd need to be going downhill with a very strong tail wind to even get close to 14.2.
