First of all.....Patriot you entered the thread and I read your comments as "baiting". Knock it off.
Secondly, it takes way nore than $$ to make a truck fast. You all that have been around have seen members thow money at their trucks with less than desireable results. It takes money, yeah, a lot of money BUT it takes a plan too.

easy killer! this type stuff happens... its OKAY. its hard to beat a modded ls1 car. no big deal.
thats why i try to ride with a full bottle, just incase. honestly though, if he ripped you 10+ lengths, you will most likely still have a hard time getting him when you juice it..
most slightly modded ls1 cars are deep in the 12's, some high 11's with cam/stall. they are tough for a truck to run down for sure... especially rolling..
good luck running him again though... maybe you will get him.

Some people are just like that. If he pulled you as hard as you say he did in 2nd then I doubt he was fully into it until 2nd. I know when I go through every gears in just normal acceleration it can sound like I'm really into it when I only go up to about 2500 rpms. Saying 'I could get him on my nitrous' is only setting you up for a trap. Don't assume every other car on the street doesn't have nitrous. He may very well have it also. Even with your nitrous, it would be tough to keep up with even a lightly modded LS1. Keep going and you're surely to run into some that isn't a douche.
Ok so sorry to post so late, it was around the 1996 model. Had an LT1 for sure(didn't have that LS1 sound). And he DID roll into it just like I did, but he smelt just like me when I run nitrous. Imma try and get him with the 150 shot, but yeah he pulled really hard. So ya I prolly shouldn't have stated "but I woulda killed him on my spray" Now that I think about it, it's gonna be a battle past 90mph
