Tell him the hypertech SAVES gas, he shouldnt worry about ONE little race anyway. Like he could use more than 1/16th of a tank in a 1/4 sprint?

u do understand how much feathering of the throttle it takes to make the 6.0(which has more HP) get any grip at all. do u have a g80? i dont have but 1 tire turning and itd be harder to control the 6.0 under the same circumstances do to the slight power difference. also i have removed my spare tire and bumper in favor of a rollpan so theres less weight back there. also pretty big diff in a 15.3 and 14.7 btw, trap is similar and just a testament to how far back im having to hold it. its a stock 6.0 with a fully built tranny and stock stall, duals and a tune. thats it. the built tranny makes it shift super hard as well so at around 50 it breaks the tire loose again shifting 2nd-3rd.

i feel ya on the 6.0 difference! With my 5.3 and the 3.23 i could go run all day and never spin a tire but went to the 6.0 and now i had to get radials to try to hook!

it makes a big diff especially with all that weight off there. i know people who cant burnout even applying the brakes and if i stomp it sitting still i can smoke the tire all day long without touching the brake pedal. people dont realize that power is no good unless u can transfer it to the ground properly, so in a sense id be at a disadvantage doing more to my truck without first doing something about the 1 tire fire.
