a buddy of mine has an 04 silvy, 5.3, cam, intake, rebuilt trans, 4:11s, posi trac, and a high stall, and i dont have much in my 4.8 but i guess enough. he just finished the gears and stall and wanted to race, so we lined em up, i knew i was probably going to get burnt pretty bad but when we took off from a dig he pulled about a good truck on me, but by each gear i went through i got closer and closer, we stopped the race at about 90-95 and i was at his rear wheels. 2nd race was a 30 roll and we went at it staying even til 70 and he started pullin away, we ended that race with me at his back bumper going close to 100 again. he was pretty surprised my truck kept up with his, i sure as hell was too!
