Well, I wasn't expecting much trying from a 75mph roll but at least I got one to play!

im waitin to get my truck back so i can race a zo6..a guy here in town has 3 of them..red one, black one, and a blue one that has a fully built 427 with a 200 shot of nitrous....im wantin to race the black one..it put down 420 on our dyno and the red one put down 433

 

I think I'd have a shot from a dig, light to light, but from a 75mph pull he just walked me!

 

I agree, gotta pick your strengths when messin with that beast. I am waiting for my chance. Had an opportunity to play with a standard C6 couple weeks ago. he was game but I was nursing a new rear end so didn't push it to much.

 

Was it a C5Z or the new C6Z? Roll races are all MPH. My Dad's stock '03 C5Z trapped 115 in negative DA... Now with head/cam/intake/headers he's at a best of 121.

... so yeah, a truck getting stomped from a 75+ race is and will be for the most part very common.

Was it a C6 or C5 Z06?

 

I had one last summer do the same thing. I nailed it as he passed me on the right. He walked me too, but he gave me the thumbs up as we slowed down for the speed trap. (Gotta love the V1) Fun fun!!
