Default me vs 05gt

I got a light with an 05 gt paper plates and all. We went on green i got out about 1 to 2 lengths on him by 45-50mph but by 60 started comming back hard. he passed me at 90, and I shut it down. I have herd they range anywhere from high 13s to low 14's, ohh yeah and somewhere around 50 he barked the tires on the shift. I herd that over my screeming blower, but i expected better out of the new mustangs.

Im still slow but working on it. Fun race though.

Don't get me wrong, I like the look of the car alot, but the performance is needing a bit more attention in the GT. I think the cobra will be pretty wicked though. But to tell ya the truth, any of the stock GT mustangs weren't that impressive IMO, they are simple mod cars if you want performance out of them though.

Default 05 Gt

I ran an 05 GT at the track (guy in my car club) and he has quite a few of the bolt on's and he ran a 13.9 to my 13.3 ( I later ran a 12.92) so stock they seem to be a little on the slow side.

I got the jump on one at the dragstrip and managed to hold him off with just a 13.8 run. Some of the guys there watching said he was running me down the whole time, though.

he lives in the houston area and can have allen do a hands on tune today if he catches him before he goes back to SA. call up allens shop and tell them you want to meet him at corvetts of houston today. hes doing tunes at discount today only for 300. hands on tune is better than any mail order youll find.

I agree, the tune is very important. Wood Hauler hit the nail on the head!
