Default LT1 Camaro and SRT-10 having some fun.

Well, I put my Z28 on the road this week with all its new toys.
I store it at the folks house about 3 hours away from my place, so its a nice little cruise back home.

There are some small towns in between and I happenend to run by a newer SRT-10 Truck parked at a small gas station and when I passed by a just touched the gas once for a nice little gurgle. Well, I just put my new hood and rims on, so It looks different then the average Camaro.
Well, I didn't want to start a run, but I had accidently gone too far.

This younger kid, probably early to mid 20's like me, starts running me down. Its a 55 mph speed limit, but the roads are long and clear. You can go 65 and get away with it, so I did just to be a pain for him to catch up.

Well, he pulls up right on my *** and just waits. He had a couple chances to pass me but he didn't.
We go over this hill and onto a nice straight, and with him still on my ***, so I have had enough.
The straight was a small incline for about a mile, and if I had a good chance to put up a fight, this was it...
I turned off my head unit and looked back one last time, then BAM!
I light up the Loudmouth and off I went.
As soon as he heard me go, since he was just waiting for me to punch it for about 3-4 miles, he stepped on it.

Now this is more of a question then a kill story because it wasn't really a race, just some fun.

I didn't get 2 lengths ahead and he stopped my pull.
The surprising thing was, after about 90 mph, I had started to yank him some. At about 105-110, I had pulled a couple more cars on him.
Granted he was right there, but I expected this thing to roast my bolt on LT1.
I shut down around 110ish, and I was very pleased with my Z.

My question is, how fast are SRT-10's from rolls at high speeds?
Does this sound right?

Single cabs are about 105 mph stock. That is about right with a bolt-on LT1.

The SRT-10 holds the record as the worlds fastest production truck, 155mph drag limited. They also weigh a lot more than your z.

The Srt-10 Truck Hits 150+ But They Are Heavy And It Also Depends On The Driver I've Seen Some Go 14.4 Stock And Even As Low As 13.3 Stock On 22's And They Are Heavy The Rc/sb And Quad Srt-10 Weigh About 500-700 Lbs More Especially The Quad Srt-10 Cause They Are On A 2500 Ram Frame.....
