gears? I'd look at a torque converter to get you out of the hole quicker, then it'd be interesting

my 2wd SS feels like a dog compared to my old 05 extended cab with a 5.3, 3.73, intake, cut off muffler. it ran 14.7. the top end feels stronger in the SS though but i miss my 5.3 kinda lol
