Default lightning

I was driving on the interstate today, and came up behind a lightning. I couldn't get over to pass, so I guess I got close enough to make him speed up to 85, so I fallowed. After traffic got out of the way I got over, and he punched it, so I stayed next to him to 100, just to mess with him. He noticed I was still next to him, so he motioned to race. We slowed down to 40, and he did 3 honks. I put about 2 trucks between us before he quit, we were above 100 so I don't know how fast. After I let off I expected the flyby, but he caught up, and gave me a , and got off at the next exit. Finally I got a race, and I only had to drive 120 miles to get it.

Is that better than the sunfire?

I have never been to the track, maybe this spring, or summer. It suprised me because it only has a half assed tune.

haha, thats a thousand times better than that sunfire! I cant wait to run a lightning again. And I still gotta say that there had to have been something wrong with the one I raced cuz I kept with him at half a car..

I don't think I'll do good at the track, because under 20-25 it is'nt near as snappy as from there up. From a 30 punch it will spin the tires a little, and anything above 75% tps it barks 1-2 shift.

If it's anything like mine 40mph isn't a good speed for me.

I bet he's talking about his gearing, 60-70mph is the sweet spot for lightnings,at least it is for mine. My truck seems to scream @65mph when it kicks down.

get a converter and you wont have that problem. mine would spin 1-2 everytime before i got the trans and stall. now it just has a nice crisp shift.
