Killed an auto 2010 camaro SS/RS
Just got done putting my drive shaft (it is a little lighter ) back in and the truck was running great tonight! Was out beating on it testing it out when i ran across a brand new 2010 camaro. It was blue with white stripes with the body flare kit on it... beautiful looking car. It was older bald dude with glasses and he complemented on how my truck sounds. It was stock from what the guy said... he just go it lol
He asked "does that thing have a 396?"
I said "no just a cammed 5.3l"
He said "nice"
So we get to a stop light in Mexico heading back home. We are going about 40mph and he asks "arent you afraid of the popo's?", and waves a finger around his head. Im like naw lets go.
So i give him the hit at 40 and i hit right after him. It takes the truck a second to downshift from overdrive to 2nd gear, and i take off. Take in mind we are going around a turn this whole time. By about 40-95 mph i pull about a length/ length 1/2 on him giving him the hit and downshifting.
I let off cause well im in a truck going around a turn at 95 mph thinking "theres no way hes on it", but when i let off he starts to fly past me.
So in a nutshell.
1. Put in new drive shaft
2. Truck runs good
3. Beat a auto 2010 camaro SS/RS
