11.94 with the 5 pound wastegate spring in, so about 8 1/2 psi at the motor with no track prep aside from M&H Racemasters.

how much boost you think your engine can handle??

 

we built it for 20-25psi and a small shot of nitrous - but until enuff transmission is available to do it 10psi, maybe 15psi after I get the new fuel parts installed, is all it will see

There are two places so far that I know of, sharadon performance builds us transmissions (if you have seen the vid of the 370 stroker the owner now has one of there trannys along with a few other high hp guys) and sunco builds us transmissions but I haven't heard of anyone having one yet.

Colt, do you think a sharadon tranny would hold up in your truck or do you think your ride would puke it up? I would ask about the sunco as well but I don't know of anyone who has one.

 

i'll wait to see how the sharadon handles brads truck when he sprays it, on 10 psi i'm making 600 whp so i need someone making comparable power (preferrably much more so I can raise boost to 20+) and putting it through one to buy one. I will if they will. The Sunco I'm suspect of - I talked to them a couple years ago and they were saying they could build my 545rfe to handle 1000+hp - we settled on $$ and all that was left was to ship a tranny. I finally found one and when I tried to set up the shipment they wouldn't get back with me. I think they actually took a look and realized it wasn't going to be as easy as they thought.
I'm still thinking of going with a megasquirt and a 727 and just dump the entire stock tranny and pcm- i just have to get to Atlanta to let the tuner see what he has to work with.
I'll run 20 pounds and nitrous sometime, thats why it was built.
