not bad times! slicks help!!! oh and lightning times are all based on traction. i have beat my fair share slightly modded too. I rarely get to line up with them at the track, but when i do I rape them!!! hehe

I was there and yes it was a lightning and the ss is a real ss with the 6.2 v8 auto. As far as the size shot I dont know what it is.

8.7 would sound about right for the SS maro, since my 6.0 gto w/ cai and diablo runs 8.7-.8s regular, and when my 99 silverado had a 4.8 and ran 9.1's it would have spanked my goat on the street from a dig
so i can believe your story dude...... especially if the SS was a 6 speed

 

8.7 would sound right for a SS camaro 4th gen. Not for a New camaro SS with the 6.2


But I believe hes using a 150 shot and not the 75 shot he said. So the story THEN could be somewhat believable but still hard to believe

Hey man I don't live to far away from you, I live in collinsville, about 20 mins away. I think I know of that Camaro your talking about. Some kid own it? I see him driving it all the time. I also seen the mustang your talking about a couple times. From what I can tell that Camaro is an ss.

and he obviously had the 150 shot in. Anyone that thinks he beat an SS camaro (with a decent driver) with a 75 shot is a ******* moron.
