woo hoo!!! i went to walgreens to get my wifes prescription cause she just got a little surgery done this a.m. when I pulled out of the parking lot a blue 02-03 gt mustang came right next to me so we get to one light and as we take off he kinds of looks over and grins at me (i had my cut-out open so its a little loud) so he gets a jump and I kind like just go WOT for a little bit so he can really get mad then... so we are at the next light and I give him a rev he turns over and smiles... so the light turns green I am stalled to about 1000rpm and we go he gets a jump of about half a car and stays like that throughout 1st gear once I hit 2nd gear its all over I start gaining on him pretty good so by about 100mph I am a car ahead of him!!! so we get to the next light and I guess he wants a rematch so the light turns green and I didnt even get a chance to stall a little so he gets about a car and a half ahead and I thought it was over for me, but then again I hit second gear and just start gaining on him by the time we hit 80mph I was next to him and I see him shift into 3rd which even made me walk on him a little more (Im still on 2nd gear) by the time we hit 100mph I got him by 1 car!!! on the next light he stopped and was laughing he said damn that is a loud *** exhaust you have!! he said it was just a stock gt automatic.... real nice guy.... I have a big smile right now... I the way with the cutout open seems like I lost a little low end cause I would hardly spin on those runs??? but it might be a good idea since before I would spin through 1st and I would have no traction....

 

its fun to beat up on a sports car huh dont get too cocky like i did though. i beat up on 4 auto gt's before i got ahold of a standard....actually he got ahold of me standard gt's run way harder than the autos. there is one way of taking care of that though

great kill, but i think he woulda had ya in the 1/4. do you know what your truck runs?

 

i really think it was the driver but then again how hard is it to race auto??? but I went all the way to 100mph so I know that was a little more than a 1/4?? I know my truck does not trap 100mph in the 1/4,,,

when I had headers and flowmaster I ran a 15.5 spinning some and I had leaking headers and full race weight i got a tonneau cover too, now I got a tune, borla, no cats, cut-out,, so hopefully I am in the in the high14's??? what do you think...??? next mods are cam and stall hopefully in the next month or so??
