UH BUD, if you're talking magazines, they'll all been in the 13s and 14s.

Equal configs a Hemi will beat a 5.3 even though they weigh 500+ lbs more....

When I was at the track back in july, running a 16.047, There was a dodge sst rcsb that was runnning 16.052...so I had him then. I know my truck is faster than that hemi because i was gaining on him pretty good....but when you start off at a 1/4 throttle for your 60' its tough to to get the rpms right.

Hemis can run from high 14's rcsb stock to low 17's for a 4x4 qc so it really depends on what you are racing. I am sure that on your next run with that hemi you probably will beat him. All Hemi are not born equal and there are some slow ones out there...
You are aware that the SST has a 5.9 in right? Now not all of those are slow as there are more mods available for those guys than the Hemis and there are quite a few that are running 11's
By the looks of your sig, if those are all of your mods then you have your 4x4 running quite well. Congrats!

This is true for the older 99,00 scsb 5.3's. It does not hold for the 02+ 5.3's as they are very capable of high 14 stock.

What did your guy's 02/03 run stock?

I've never seen a 5.3 run 15s even actually (stock), but I still believe with a good driver they can break 15s, prolly mid 15s, but 14s.
